David Smookler started the Brentwood Pickleball club at Creekside Park, in October 2015. David, a lifelong racquet ball player, was introduced to the sport and has never looked back. He resides in Brentwood and shares his love of the sport with his two daughters, Britney and Jennifer. The club, with approximately 300 members, is known for its welcoming and enthusiastic spirit, and it all began with David. With so much growth happening so fast, David and the rest of the Brentwood Pickleball Club are working towards securing dedicated Pickleball courts in 2020.
